Two lovers

There was a time when the angels and humans all lived in harmony. There was a portal from which they could travel to their worlds and returned safely. It was all peaceful and full of joy. In that time it was usual for humans to have angels as friends, even best friends, but they could never love each other because if they, by any chance, gave birth to a child, the world would be cursed. Everyone knew that the day will came when an angel and human would love each other but they didn’t care and stay the same. Everyone knew that when that day comes, it would be their doom.

In that time, two people met by destiny, Katia and Javi. Katia was an angel, the daughter of the Great Angel as everyone called him because he was the best angel in the world and he was the only immortal angel. Javi was a simple human, a peasant actually, that was abandoned when he was four years old.

The two of them met one day when they were 6 years old. Katia came to the human world to play since her father forbid her to play in the angel world (The Ang) and Javi was asking for food to everyone that came to the square. They saw each other and instantly felt a connection growing in them but they never thought they were meant to be.

Katia and Javi grow out to be best friends and started to fell in love without even realize it. They knew about the prophecy but never thought it would be them the ones that will make it true. Katia always brought Javi food since he never had any and Javi always brought Katia flowers or some kind of present in return.

The time came when Katia was 19 years old that they first revealed their feelings and thought they could get punished because they could complete the prophecy but they kept it as a secret. However, in The Ang the changes started to appear and the angels were slowly and painfully dying. They didn’t know the cause but later found out that it was because of the prophecy and the two worlds had a meeting to discuss that. Apparently, in the human world the changes were also starting to appear but as disasters such as floods and earthquakes. The earth was warning them that the prophecy would be complete if they didn’t take action, so they did take action.

In the meeting, the leaders of the worlds decided to close the portal for good so the prophecy would be never complete. They made some kind of ritual where the Great angel made a sacrifice and gave up his immortality to close the portal and protect the worlds.

Katia and Javi were desperate still they didn’t have time to plan something and were separated by force. They never saw each other again and tried to end their pain in every way but never had the courage to do something about it and lived their life in sadness with the hope of finding each other again.

Since that day the two world have been disconnected and isolated from each other and till this day you can hear the two lovers crying so painfully because they couldn’t even say goodbye and in the dark, lonely and sadder nights when you are thinking about an unrequited love they are whispering to your hear that they loved each other so badly but were separated in an unfair way.
